Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
SafuScan is a free, informational crypto-safety tool. We designed it to need as little of your data as possible. You do not create an account, and you do not connect a wallet to scan a token, view markets, or read a guide. Wallet connection is only used when you explicitly choose a wallet-powered action such as SafeSwap.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, names, emails or passwords for using the site.
- No wallet connection is required to scan tokens, view markets, read guides, build a watchlist, or use alerts.
- We never ask for, store, or transmit your private keys or seed phrases — and never will.
- We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.
Data stored in your browser
Your watchlist and price/safety alerts are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Wallet connections
If you connect Phantom or MetaMask for SafeSwap, the wallet provider returns a public wallet address to your browser so the swap route can continue. SafuScan never receives private keys or seed phrases, never signs transactions, and never takes custody of funds. The final transaction is reviewed and signed inside your wallet.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand overall traffic and performance. These do not use third-party advertising cookies and are not used to build a profile of you. If you enable browser notifications for alerts, that permission is granted to your browser, not to us.
Third-party data sources
When you scan a token or view a coin, your request is processed server-side and we query public data providers (CoinGecko, GeckoTerminal, DexScreener, GoPlus, honeypot.is, Jupiter, and public blockchain RPCs). Those providers may receive the contract/coin you looked up as part of serving the data. Outbound links (e.g. to a DEX or block explorer) take you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies.
